What are Ganoderma and Ganoderma spores?

Ganoderma lucidum(Lingzhi, Reishi) has been used for about thousands of years in China as a miraculous herb for promoting health and longevity.  It contains three stages of life: mycelium, fruit body and spore.  Spores are seeds and of greatest health benefits.  However, the walls of spores need to be broken to facilitate effective absorption of bioactive ingredients by human body.  Each spore contains a drop of oil, which has highly concentrated active ingredients.

A patented enzymatic technology was used to break the walls of spores, resulting in high rates of broken walls (> 95%) without damaging active ingredients.  The enzymatic technology is the best among others such as physical methods.

Highly Effective in Anticancer

Various experiments have been carried out recently at University of Toronto to study the effects of Ganoderma on the inhibition of cancer cell growth.   The experiments demonstrated that Ganoderma directly modulates on tumour cell growth and cell death.  Wall-broken spores produce greater inhibitory effects on cancer cells, and those prepared by enzymatic process produce the best results.
